OK so some of you know i have been sick this last week.. and it has kicked my ass hard... you would think working in a pharmacy i would have a pretty good immune system (which i normally do) but i think since taking this trainer job and working 12-14 hour days without a lunch and a stress level to up my Zoloft and not working so much one on one with sick patients my immune system is shot. So last week was a decent week my home store is getting the hang of the system and i don't think they rely on me as much to "bail" them out. i came home Tuesday night and started watching TV when my throat started hurting again... and it wasn't a mild sore throat it was killing i took some ibuprofen and went on doing what i was doing knowing i was off on wednesday and i can rest all day. so Wednesday comes around and my ear is hurting a this point and my nose well i knew i was coming down with something. just kept popping the ibu and the Mucixnex-D hoping it would pass. well come Thursday morning i woke up and felt like crap weak, head hurt, throat hurt, voice was raspy, and my ear was killing me i went in to the insta care and was told its a strain of the flu (yes i got my flu shot) and its viral nothing they can do so keep up on the ibu and the mucinex d and i should be fine in a week. i had to be better by Tuesday i was supposed to leave for Las Vegas to roll a store out there... so i stayed indoors since the air quality went to crap (and i have asthma to boot) and drank my OJ, took my ibu and mucinex d , and by Sunday i had no voice and i felt like i was getting worse my cough was starting to hurt and i thought it was moving to mu lungs. so i call my boss and tell him i have been sick since wed and i don't think ill be able to make Vegas. Monday morning rolls around i call my normal Dr and see if they can get me in... well not till Wed at 4 ugh..... so i call Martha's cell phone and leave a message with her to see if she can squeeze me in and she was Tuesday morning at 845.
i have slept so much in the last week that i was hoping i was getting better not worse. so Tuesday morning i wake up and my ear and throat are still KILLING me. so i do the whole look at the back of the throat and low and behold there is a white pocket on the back of my throat... yes STREP... well once i get in and start getting the once over from Martha she informs me i have a Upper respiratory infection, a sinus infection, ear infection and strep!!!! so needless to say i got a doosey going on, and the air quality well they say 30 is bad it was a 90.....so unhealthy... good thing i didn't fly to Vegas she says the pressure would of popped my ear drum... (that could of been workers comp) lol....
I'm hopping my antibiotics will kick in and i can start feeling better. i need to get my save the dates mailed out and there is a Bridal Show at LA CALIE... YUM Yum those shows are good and they have lots of giveaways.. well i just thought i would ramble on thanks!! for letting me
