So for Thanksgiving this year i came to Denver last minute to spend it with my Mom and Bob. Orginally i was scheduled to work the date after Thanksgiving (the 1st time in 4yrs) and then on our weekly confrenence call our boss said take the weekend off.. the first tought for me was DENVER!!!! We had made plans with Barts family to do Thanksgiving but i really needed a break away from work and needed to be with my mom (im such a momma's girl) so i talked to Bart and he told me he couldnt come with me this year which was a lil hard i mean this is our first offical Thanksgiving together as a engaged couple and here i am leaving him to go be with my family. i knew that i wouldnt be able to see my mom and Bob for Christmas as they are going to NEW YORK (im so jealous) to be with Bobs family this year. so i came to Denver. its been fun to hang out with my mom i miss her so much and wish she was closer to me. but who knows maybe if i wish hard enough they will transfer Bob to Utah (even though he hates ut) but i can dream. i flew in on Thanksgiving morning and when i got off the plane i forgot what a job it is to get your luggage..for any of you who havent been to the denver airport.. you have to take a train ( i call it the subway) to 3 Stops and it goes fast last time i came out there wasnt nearly as many people as there where this time so i get on the lil train and its packed reminded me of when me and my mom took the subway to the mets game at 5pm there was no standing room.. so finally a HOUR after i landed i had my luggage and was on my way to my moms new house. its nice its about a mile from the apt they where living in and the view from the back yard is amazing! the dogs love it!!! thanks giving was nice my mom cooked a turkey breast and we had mashed potatoes, stuffing, and the all famous green bean casserol. i didnt get to enjoy the green bean casserol or stuffing my mom is to cheap to buy soup or broth with out MSG!!! (still love you mom) so i passed on thos two just to save myself the pain! me and my mom sat up till 4am looking at ads and comparing laptops i have been wainting one for a while but now that ill be in vegas for 3 months away from Bart i decided id get one for myself. so i did as mush comparison online as i could reading reviews and learning the differance between dul core 2, amd sepron, anthlon x2 and the other one trilon 2. so after all that and debating which store i wanted to be at and fight with people for a laptop i decided not to go. i figured it wasnt worth fighting with others over a laptop with a store that only got 10-15. i deceided id hit the crowds later in the day cuz somtimes they still have good deals! and i did get one well i think i did i got a laptop finally.. to bad best buy forgot to take off "archie" which is there program that the geek squad loads on to protect them (i got the floor model for a good deal and im happy) so i havent been able to play with my lap top as of yet. but ill let you all know how it goes later today! so now we are off to best buy. hope every one had a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!! i know i did even if it was with out my Love!!!!
